Arbëreshë Krasniqi, a member of the NISMA Socialdemocrate party, stated that her party will not vote for Glauk Konjufca to become Prime Minister and form a new government.
Krasniqi criticized the nomination of Konjufca by President Vjosa Osmani, calling it illegal and unacceptable.
“The reason NISMA does not support Konjufca is clear — he was not lawfully nominated, even by the President herself. For all of us, this step is unacceptable, and the Assembly is, at this point, in violation of the law,” Krasniqi said.
She acknowledged that Kosovo is in a difficult political situation, blaming Lëvizja Vetëvendosje for what she described as unserious handling of institutional formation, which she said harms citizens.
“Despite all the efforts by NISMA and Limaj to establish institutions and a functioning government, there has been no result. The actions of Vetëvendosje have been neither serious nor sincere, and the damage to Kosovo grows every day,” Krasniqi added.
However, Krasniqi noted that if a session is called to vote on the state budget, NISMA will support it.
