Kreshnik Radoniqi, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo, today met with Lyn Debevoise, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Central and Western Europe at the U.S. Department of State, who is currently visiting Kosovo.
During the meeting, Radoniqi briefed Debevoise on the preparations underway for the early parliamentary elections scheduled for December 28, 2025.
Radoniqi expressed gratitude for the continuous support of the United States for the CEC and Kosovo’s democratic processes, emphasizing the importance of transparent and well-organized elections.
“We appreciate the ongoing cooperation and support from our international partners, which is crucial for ensuring free, fair, and credible elections,” Radoniqi stated.
The visit highlights ongoing international engagement and oversight ahead of Kosovo’s parliamentary elections, underlining the commitment of both local authorities and international partners to maintaining electoral integrity.
