Acting State Prosecutor Visits Operational Room Monitoring the Election Process

The Acting State Prosecutor of Kosovo, Agron Qalaj, has visited the operational room responsible for monitoring the electoral process at the Office of the State Prosecutor.

During the visit, Qalaj was welcomed by the National Elections Coordinator, prosecutor Laura Pula, from the Office of the State Prosecutor. He observed first-hand the work of the operational room, which is actively engaged in safeguarding citizens’ free vote throughout the election process.

Commitment to Electoral Integrity

The Acting State Prosecutor expressed appreciation and encouragement to Coordinator Pula and the entire staff of the operational room for their ongoing efforts to ensure the integrity, legality, and transparency of the electoral process.

He emphasized that the presence and continuous monitoring by prosecutors are crucial to protecting democratic standards and maintaining public trust in the elections.

The operational room remains fully functional throughout election day, coordinating with relevant institutions to address any potential violations and to guarantee that the voting process proceeds in a calm, lawful, and secure manner.
