The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that, as of the early morning hours today, 99.26% of the votes from the snap parliamentary elections have been counted.
According to the updated CEC data, 19 ballot boxes remain to be counted.
Based on the preliminary results, the Vetëvendosje Movement continues to lead with 49.30% of the vote, totaling 429,979 votes.
In second place is the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 21.01%, or 183,258 votes, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) in third place with 13.59%, or 118,490 votes.
They are followed by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) with 5.68% of the vote and the Serb List with 3.74%.
Voter turnout, according to the latest CEC update, stands at 44.99% of eligible voters.
The electoral process took place in 948 polling centers, with a total of 2,614 polling stations, including 910 centers with 2,557 polling stations for regular voting and 38 centers with 57 polling stations designated for conditional voting.
A total of 1,146 candidates for deputy from 23 political entities competed for seats in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in these elections.
